This is an action on a contract of guaranty indorsed on a building contract. The plaintiff sues as the assignee of Louis Joyeux. Joyeux, desiring to build a house upon ground owned by him, entered into a written contract with William Bormans, by which the latter agreed to do the work and furnish the materials for the sum of twenty-nine hundred dollars, payable in certain installments.
