The plaintiff, while crossing Commerce Street in Hartford, was struck by an automobile being driven by one of the defendants in the course of his employment by the other. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendants and both the plaintiff and the defendants have appealed, the defendants merely seeking certain corrections in the finding. The sole question presented grows out of the refusal of the trial court to submit to the jury the issue of the right of the plaintiff to recover under the doctrine of supervening negligence.
