The defendant, Ronald M. Thompson, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of sexual assault in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-71 (a) (1), risk of injury to a child in violation of General Statutes § 53-21 and two counts of failure to appear in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-172.1 On appeal, *10the defendant claims that the court improperly (1) admitted constancy of accusation evidence, (2) instructed and misled the jury concerning the permissible uses of the victim’s prior out-of-court…
