Lange, filed this action July 7, 1955, against defendants, Kansas Hide & Wool Company, a corporation, and Jack Goldstein, its alleged general manager, seeking to recover $1,862.30 pursuant tp an .alleged written contract entered.into September 27, 1950, by plaintiff and Jack Goldstein, whereby plaintiff agreed to sell and defendant corporation agreed to buy. one carload of No. 1 cast iron for $35 per net ton, to be shipped f.o.b.
