The defendant, after a trial to the court, was found guilty of (1) propelling a powerboat while dredging for oysters or other shellfish upon a natural oyster bed, in violation of § 26-215 of the General Statutes, and (2) towing a dredge under water over a designated oyster bed without the permission of the owner or lessee, in violation of § 26-231.
