This is an application for writ of habeas corpus in behalf of a subject of tbe king of Italy, wbo is in jail in this commonwealth as tbe result of a judgment and sentence of the state courts of Massachusetts finding him guilty of murder, and directing his electrocution. A petition in behalf of the same person, or by tbe same person, was filed a few days ago and denied, and an appeal was allowed to the supreme court, and that appeal is now pending there.
