Plaintiff commenced this action against General Host Corporation and nine other defendants, including Seymour M. Lazar, charging them with various violations of the anti-fraud, anti-*641manipulative, proxy and reporting provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, in connection with an unsuccessful' attempt by General Host to acquire control of Armour Corporation.
