We must decide whether successive marijuana possession convictions constitute an aggravated felony within the meaning of the criminal provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Federico Garcia-Olmedo, a native and citizen of Mexico, appeals his conviction by guilty plea for illegal reentry after deportation following an aggravated felony conviction, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a) and (b)(2).
