The separate indictments against John Wesley King and Joey Thomas King were consolidated for trial and both defendants were convicted of robbery in the first degree and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole as habitual offenders. On this appeal, both defendants raise the same two issues.

At trial, Joey King testified in his own behalf and admitted that he had six prior burglary convictions.
