SIMPSON, Circuit Judge:

This case involves the recurring and complex problem of the narrow circumstances in which a federal court may enjoin ongoing state judicial proceedings. The lower court issued an injunction restraining the enforcement of an existing state court injunctive order which forbade appellees from speaking upon or entering upon the campus of North Texas State University.
