ILANA DIAMOND ROVNER, Circuit Judge.
Attorney John Betts served fifteen days in jail on a criminal contempt conviction. We reversed his conviction and vacated the sentence, concluding that the court order he purportedly had transgressed was not sufficiently specific to support a conviction for contempt. In re Betts, 927 F.2d 983 (7th Cir.1991). Betts then petitioned the district court for a certificate of innocence, the statutory prerequisite to a civil suit against the government for wrongful imprisonment. See 28 U.S.C. § 2513.
