NORTHROP, District Judge.

The cause of action arises from an automobile collision on August 4, 1963, in Maryland. The plaintiff claims in her complaint to be a “resident” of the District of Columbia. The defendants are citizens of Maryland. The amount in controversy is claimed to exceed $10,-000.00. The plaintiff further alleges that the collision and the injuries sustained by her were due to the negligence of the defendants. Suit was filed on February 11, 1966.
