In this appeal, we consider whether the trial court abused its discretion in ordering remittitur of a jury award of compensatory and punitive damages.
I. FACTS AND PROCEEDINGS BELOW
For approximately twenty years, Robert Alexander Baldwin ("Baldwin") and James L. McConnell ("McConnell") were both employed at General Electric Company ("GE"). GE had a "zero tolerance" policy which provided that any violent behavior at the work place would result in termination of employment.
