The principal error insisted on by plaintiff in error as a ground of reversing the judgment of the lower court, is the refusal of the court to permit bim to prove by the defendant in error, Mrs. Gore, whom he called as a witness, the conversations and transactions of herself and the Grand Trunk Western Railway Company leading up to the contracts that resulted in the dismissal of the suit as to that Company.
