Russ Alford, of the City of Waukegan, Illinois, filed his petition in the circuit court of Lake county for a writ of mandamus against Lew A. Hendee, Michael Haney, and Henry F. Wallenwein, to compel them as the canvassing board for the election held November 6, 1934, to properly abstract the votes in certain precincts of Lake county. The petition in substance is as follows :
