OPINION OF THE COURT

COOK, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, appellant was convicted, by a general court-martial, of possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing and selling heroin, in violation of Articles 92 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 934, respectively. He was sentenced to a reduction to E-l, confinement at hard labor for 12 years, total forfeitures, and a dishonorable discharge.
