In accordance with his pleas, the appellant was convicted by special court-martial, military judge alone, of a total of six offenses under the Uniform Code of Military Justice [UCMJ], as follows: Charge I — Violation of Article 128, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 928 — (1) on 4 October 1983, unlawfully striking Private First Class William M.
