This "is an appeal from an order granting a new trial in a suit for false 'arrest and imprisonment. On the original trial, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty as to one defendant, the manager of a hotel corporation, and guilty as to the corporation, assessing damages against the latter in the amount of one dollar.
