LAVINE, J.

The pro se plaintiff, Steven Edelman, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his action against certain defendants (state defendants) 1 for lack of personal jurisdiction. Although the plaintiff raised a number of claims in his appeal, 2 the pivotal issue is whether the court improperly granted the state defendants’ motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction due to insufficient service of process. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
