In this case the plaintiff brought an action of trover against the defendant for certain items of automobile trim, alleging possession in the defendant, title in the plaintiff, and a refusal by the defendant to deliver the property to him. The evidence shows that the plaintiff delivered to the defendant a certain described automobile for repairs, including the replacing of certain “trim,” such as upholstery on the seats, door panels, etc.; that the defendant sublet to American Tire Company of Atlanta the job of replacing the trim in the automobile sent to it; that, after removing the old…
