The plaintiffs commenced this action on April 17, 1952, in the District Court of Iowa in and for Kossuth County. The action is based upon a policy of automobile insurance. Service of original notice, was made by acceptance of the same for the defendant by the Commissioner of Insurance of Iowa, as provided by Iowa law. The policy of automobile insurance involved was the combined policy of two insurance companies, apparently affiliated with one another.
