In an information filed be the district attorney of Los Angeles County on March 29, 1951, and containing two counts, appellant was accused of the crime of robbery. It was further charged that at the time of the commission of each offense he was armed with a deadly weapon.
On April 16,1951, before Judge Thurlow T. Taft, appellant pleaded “guilty as charged in count 1 of the information” and denied being armed. As to count 2 he entered a plea of “not guilty.”
