STROUD, Judge.

This case arises from a dispute over a billboard on leased property. Plaintiff erected the billboard as lessee of the land. Defendants are the landowner/lessor. The billboard has an aboveground sign with an underground foundation. The lease was not renewed when it expired.

Defendants present three issues to this Court: (1) whether the lessor is entitled to an amount greater than the rent as set by the original lease from a holdover lessee when the only evidence presented as to fair rental value is the gross profits of the lessee; (2) whether the lessee abandoned its billboard to…
