This action involves defendant First National Bank’s 1 alleged breach of an agreement to loan plaintiff 2 money for the purchase of real property to be farmed by plaintiff and to be secured by a mortgage on plaintiff’s home. Defendant appeals from a judgment entered on a jury verdict awarding plaintiff segregated amounts as follows: $8,000 for fanning costs he incurred in reliance on the promise to loan, $7,000 for loss of value of the premises, and $3,000 for lost profits on crops.
