Appellant, Bryant K. Súber, was indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury on one count of carrying a concealed weapon with the specification of having been previously convicted of an offense of violence, in violation of R.C. 2923.12. A hearing on a motion to suppress was held on April 22, 1996, and the motion was overruled by the trial court. Following a jury trial, appellant was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon.
