MOORE, Justice.

This is a suit by Robert L. Harper, plaintiff, against his former employer, W. B. Stowers, defendant, in which plaintiff seeks to recover additional compensation, which he alleges to be due him for the years 1956 through 1960, under the terms of a written contract of employment. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the Trial Court. On January 15, 1956, plaintiff and defendant entered into a written contract, by the terms of which plaintiff was to act as a salesman for the defendant who was a manufacturer’s representative.
