In its Opinion and Order filed June 4, 1981 (“Opinion”), 90 FRD 410, with which familiarity is assumed, this Court, on de novo consideration, affirmed the Findings and Conclusions of Magistrate Kent Sinclair, Jr. that counsel for plaintiffs (collectively “Litton”) had been guilty of gross negligence and intentional misrepresentation in responding to discovery requests and court orders for production of records of interviews conducted by Litton’s house counsel Norman L. Roberts with various Litton employees relating to suspected financial improprieties in the operation…
