Appellant, Charles Doekins, was arrested on December 27,1970, and charged with Aggravated Bobbery, Burglary, Assault and Battery, Aggravated Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery with Intent to Murder, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Unlawfully Carrying Firearms Without a License. At the trial, the Commonwealth presented evidence which would establish, if believed, that on December 23, 1970, at approximately 4:45 P.M., appellant entered the office of his optometrist, Dr. Sheldon Greene, carrying a gun.
