Introduction

In this original proceeding, relator Mark Dean Hancock seeks a writ of mandamus directing the trial court to vacate its October 30, 2006 Order Denying Relief, which purports to clarify that relator’s period of community supervision does not end until September 10, 2009. Relator also seeks a writ of prohibition prohibiting the trial court from pursuing further proceedings related to the community supervision that would restrain relator’s liberty.
