OPINION
WECHSLER, Judge.
{1} This case involves a medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuit filed by Plaintiffs on behalf of their daughter. Plaintiffs appeal the dismissal of their lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed against Thomas Packard, a New Mexico doctor, and Memorial Medical Center, Inc., a New Mexico hospital (New Mexico Defendants), as well as two Texas doctors, Arturo A. Hernandez and Gilbert Handal (Doctors), and R.E. Thomason General Hospital, a Texas hospital (Hospital).
