The plaintiffs, Carisa Caruso and Lisa Caruso,1 appeal from the judgment of the trial court granting the motion for summary judgment filed by the defendant board of education of the city of Milford.2 The dispositive issue on appeal is whether the court improperly concluded that the plaintiffs’ failure to cite a statutory basis for abrogating the defendant’s govem*97mental immunity barred the action as a matter of law.3 We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
