OPINION
BAKER, Judge.
Appellant/cross-appellee/plaintiff Simon Property Group, L.P. (Landlord) appeals the denial of its motion to correct error. Specifically, it alleges that the jury's damages award on Landlord's negligence claim against appellee/cross-appellant/defendant Brandt Construction, Inc. (Brandt) was inadequate as a matter of law and that the trial court erred in denying its request for prejudgment interest.
