WHITE, Senior Judge.

The plaintiffs are 12 employees of the United States Customs Service within the Department of the Treasury. They are all residents of Bexar County, Texas, and are employed as Customs Air Officers and Aircraft Pilots. The plaintiffs seek overtime compensation which, they claim, defendant has denied them in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended (29 U.S.C. §§ 201-219) (1976 & Supp. IV 1981).
