In this motion for preliminary injunctive relief, the plaintiffs have alleged violations of the antitrust laws by the New York News, Inc. (“the News”) (which publishes the Daily News and the Sunday News) and one of its distributors, Leonard Cohen, News Home Delivery, Inc. (“Leonard Cohen”). 1 Leonard Cohen, either in his capacity as president of the corporation or in an individual capacity, has been a distributor, or carrier, of the News in the Bronx, New York, since 1970.
