for the Court.
The applicant, Jose Torres (applicant or Torres), appeals from the denial of his application for postconviction relief in Superior Court. On appeal, Torres argues that the grand jury indictment wrongly charged him with murder. Although he ultimately pled to a lesser charge of manslaughter, Torres contends that his conviction should be vacated because of what he contends was an inherently flawed indictment, which, he maintains, is a defect not waived by his plea.
