Plaintiffs Billy G. Patterson, his wife Peamell Patterson, and their son Keith Patterson (“the Pattersons”) appeal from the trial court’s orders granting the City of Gastonia’s motions to dismiss and for summary judgment. The Pattersons primarily contend on appeal that the City’s actions relating to demolition of the Pattersons’ mobile homes violated their due process rights under the North Carolina Constitution.
