LAVORATO, Justice.

In a bench trial, the district court found Brian Joseph Lange guilty of violating Iowa Code section 421A.12 (1991) (failure to affix a drug tax stamp to marijuana). He appeals from the judgment of conviction and sentence, raising four issues. First, Lange contends the district court violated his due process rights when it denied his motion based upon prosecutorial delay.
