EVERETT, Chief Judge.

Appellant was tried by a special court-martial military judge sitting alone, at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina. In accordance with his pleas he was found guilty of three specifications of unauthorized absence and one specification of escape from custody, in violation of Articles 86 and 95, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886 and 895, respectively. Felty was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, partial monthly forfeitures for 6 months, and confinement at hard labor for 4 months. The convening and supervisory…
