BENCH, Judge:

Plaintiff appeals the trial court’s grant of summary judgment to defendants and denial of plaintiff’s cross motion for summary judgment. We affirm.

FACTS

Plaintiff and defendant Allan were both single residents of California when they began dating in 1993. As a result of that relationship, Allan became pregnant. In March of 1994, Allan informed plaintiff of her pregnancy and that he was the father. Shortly thereafter, the parties stopped dating and Allan expressed her intent to place the child for adoption.
