This case arises out of petitions charging the respondents with contempt of court.

On April-9, 1937 two separate bills in equity were filed in the Supreme Judicial Court in the County of Androscoggin against certain labor organizers, some of whom were officials of the United Shoe Workers of America, an affiliate of the Committee for Industrial Organization.
