Plaintiff-Appellees Tina Janelle Peterson and Margie Martina Peterson (“the Petersons”) filed a civil rights action, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, against Defendant-Appellants Jeff Jensen, Tom Tallón, and Ty Berger of the Davis County, Utah Sheriffs Department (“the officers”). 1 The Petersons alleged that the officers violated their Fourth Amendment rights during the execution of a search warrant.
