MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER ON PRETRIAL MOTIONS

Defendants were indicted under Sections 1955 and 2 of Title 18 of the United States Code, both for operating and for aiding and abetting the operation of a gambling business in violation of state law. See Annotated Code of Maryland, Art. 27, §§ 240, 356. Pursuant to Title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, 18 U.S.C.A. § 2510 et seq.
