Defendant, Safeway, Inc., appeals from a judgment entered in favor of plaintiff, Rosa Lawson, on her claim for damages arising from injuries she sustained when she fell in one of defendant’s stores. We affirm.

In September of 1990, plaintiff was shopping at defendant’s store when she slipped on some spilled milk and fell, injuring her arm, knee, and lower back. Defendant had not posted any signs warning its patrons of the spilled milk, and, although one of its employees had swept a portion of the store sometime before plaintiffs fall, the employee had not swept the…
