RUDKIN, Circuit Judge.

Qn July 28, 1920, a receiver was appointed for the property of the Union Rand & Cattle Company, at the suit of the First National Bank of San Francisco, an unsecured creditor. At the time of the appointment, the property of the cattle company consisted of about 226,000 acres of land in the states of Nevada and California; about 69 per cent, of the capital stock of the Antelope .Valley Rand & Cattle Company; about 40,000 head of cáttle; 40,000 head of sheep; 2,500 head of horses; and ranch equipment.
