—Quaere: Is a homestead extinguished when property is involuntarily conveyed at a sheriff's sale and a sheriff's deed is issued at the end of the 1-year redemption period?

The lender, Queen City Savings and Loan Association, *42had received a sheriff's deed after the expiration of the year of redemption. The debtors later reacquired the property from Queen City by deed, but did not file a new homestead declaration.
