Mandamus by Oramel B. Fuller, auditor general of the State of Michigan, to compel Edward L. Cousino, treasurer of the county of Monroe, to pay to the State a certain tax charged back to said county by the auditor.

The petition of the relator for a writ of mandamus represents:(1) That he is the auditor general of this State, and that it is his duty to collect from the several county treasurers in the State such sums of money as may be found due from the several counties on general account, and for taxes charged back to said counties, where sales to the State have been canceled under decrees of a court of competent jurisdiction.(2) That in the year 1873 the S.
