This case was before us at a former term, and will be found reported as East St. Louis and Carondelet Railway Co. v. Nugent, 147 Ill. 254. The plaintiff in the declaration upon which this cause was tried, claimed title in fee to a part of lot 6, in block 29, of the platted town of Illinois, (now part of the city of East St. Louis,) commencing at a point on the southern line of said lot twenty-four feet and three inches from the most southern corner thereof, thence along said line of said lot thirty-five feet and nine inches to the westernmost corner thereof, thence along the western line of…
