Appeal from Thirteenth Judicial District Court, Parish of Grant; Wilbur Disk Black-man, Judge. Action by W. R. King against William P. Guynes and others.- Judgment for defendants, and plaintiff appeals.

This suit was instituted against the 15 defendants to recover $30,000 damages for their alleged cruel treatment of the plaintiff, amounting to torture, to force the confession of an alleged crime of which he was not guilty.

One of the defendants, Otto Braum, was not cited, and the suit as to him was dismissed, and need not be considered. The other defendants were cited, but the citations served on them did not bear the impress of the seal of the court, and were set aside on exceptions filed.
