JONES, District Judge.

DIRECTV, Inc. (“DIRECTV”) brings this action seeking damages for the unauthorized reception of its satellite television programming and the unlawful distribution of electronic devices designed to steal such programming, in violation of federal law, and for various state law tort claims. The case is presently before me on cross-motions for summary judgment.
