SWANSTROM, Judge.
This is a lawsuit against an insurance company by an insured who claims that the company wrongfully failed to pay a loss covered by his policy. He seeks to recover not only the amount of the loss but also damages for the company’s alleged breach of an implied covenant of good faith, its alleged commission of a tort of bad faith, and its alleged violation of the Idaho Unfair Settlement Practices Act.
